The Oxford Forum

The Oxford Economics of Mutuality Forum is a flagship event hosted in partnership with Oxford University’s Saïd Business School. It leverages a unique blend of academic research, business application, and MBA insight to determine how we can best accelerate the much-needed transition to the next era of capitalism.

Catch-Up On the 2023 Forum

The 21st century has witnessed a multitude of crises that have become systemic – economic, political, war and pandemic-related, and now looming famine. These crises pose escalating challenges for society and nature.

Business leaders at this critical inflection point have a duty and opportunity to transform operating models to drive meaningful solutions to the world’s most pressing systemic challenges. Compelled by a combination of regulatory, public, shareholder, and market pressures, organizations may have no recourse but to deliver more responsible, purpose-driven outcomes.

In February 2023, we explored how business can deliver practical solutions to deal with systemic crises. And how companies can become more responsible and purpose-driven by solving the problems of people and planet profitably.
